I’m Alaskan Native, but growing up I just thought I was white. We were told we were native, kinda, moreso we were told about these corporations and great riches. I had blond hair and a toe head. My brother’s all were darker complected, except my big brother John Tollak, he was sired by a different father, lighter skin but darker hair, and he was 4 years older. The only signs that I was not Europe decent was the time my best friends dad told me one time, we thought you were Mexicans, and could not figure out why this blond kid was running around with them, there we Mexican families dotted around the hood, the sotos, gomez, and mendez. The only other clue was in 3rd grade a girl was teasing me saying I had Chinese eyes . Except for those blemishes, not much grief. Really we all blended in perfectly in our minds at least. Canyoun country will always hold a place in my heart ❤️ rough and tumble. I played football, baseball, swim team, and even some wrestling early on, was quite good I might add, but that all ended when the hormones kicked in, and a realization I was attractive to girls girls and more, I loved them all. I started drinking at about the time I learned to ride a bike, was blacking out at 14, 15 an alcoholic already. I grew up in the Peter pan style, it was pure fun, 24/7 . I played little leauge baseball, it was my first brush with entitlements, our coach was a cop named Mr thomas for the philles, he always had his son playing the best position, we even had sliding pants lol, we lost most games, not until babe truth did I get a chance to excel, Mr Arispe, Tito. He still pitched his son, but he was good, Robert. We won the league, against so future prospects the smth family, who had our rival player make an appearance on the ultimate stage. I had the most pick offs in the league, and was batting .775 at mid season, but in all stars for both years was relegated to the bench. Except when they could stop the run, but it was too late, we were eliminated by corina, and the next year… . Forget. That is life, now I’m with the Thomas team, looking for the Arispe team, nowhere in sight.
